Hot slip shrink film is a specialized type of shrink film designed with an added slip agent that becomes active at elevated temperatures. This slip agent, often incorporated into the film formulation, reduces the coefficient of friction between layers of the film when it is heated. The result is improved slip characteristics, allowing the film to easily slide or slip over the packaged product during the shrinking process.
